Some years it feels like we don't get a "Fall" season and go straight from Summer to Winter in a flash. As soon as the temp starts to drop I get the urge to break out the fall decorations and really relish in the colors and feelings the season brings. I used to never decorate for fall but have found that I can still bring the season into my home without having to completely change everything around me. By adding just a few touches, the ambiance in my home gets cozier.

I found most of my fall decorations at Hobby Lobby and I like to pick out things that I can add to my already existing decor, which makes my transition easier and more seamless. I found two picks that had some fall foliage, pumpkins, and greenery on them that I added to the sides of my fireplace mantel. These are so easy to just stick in behind my current decor and add such a warm feeling to the mantel.
I also found some small pumpkins that I place around the house in different places. On the fireplace, I have a couple and even below on my crate I have a stacked set. I love stacking pumpkins, it is such a cute look!
On my dining room table I have a black crate with painted mason jars in it. It always has flowers in it but during the fall I add leaf picks and pumpkins which is such an easy way to transition my decor. Take a look at what you already have and find pieces you can add!

Other places I like to add pumpkins and picks are in my large white pitcher and on my kitchen counter. These things are so easy to do and don't break the bank either; which I think we can all agree is a great thing!
Decorating for seasons doesn't have to be stressful or complicated! The best part about decorating is that you can do whatever you want, whatever fits your budget, and whatever reflects your style. I hope that you can take some of these tips and apply them to your home and create a space that inspires and motivates you!
